Ang Imong Larawan
This poem depicts the speaker’s broad imagination of someone whose image keeps on floating in his mind. The picture constantly daydreamed by the speaker gives him joy and hopefulness. Even in the speaker’s lonesome, the picture depicted in his mind is always that of the person he desires for. However, the desirable imagination is only a product of the speaker’s longing and despair. It is a mere replacement of the speaker’s anguish.
