Venue and map

The Albert van Gansenwinkel Hall is situated at the upper ground floor of the Law and Graduate Business School in the Ernest Hoerdemann Building at Pelaez Street. It is named after Fr. Albert van Gansewinkel, SVD.

The van Gansewinkel Hall, as the facility is formally known, can accommodate 272 people in seats designed for theater viewing. It can be a venue for cultural performances, seminars, forums and other like activities with its wide stage and good acoustics.

An SVD priest, Fr. Albert van Gansewinkel, came to the Philippines sometime in the early thirties. In 1941, he became the secretary-general of the Colegio de San Carlos and taught Religion and Philosophy subjects in the College of Liberal Arts and a reading course in the College of Law.
