BIOGRAPHY

Lawyer and agriculturist Nicolas Rafols was born in Toledo, Cebu in 1894 and died on May 2, 1947. Writing with the names Enarem and Niramer, he produced both literary and journalistic works. He went to Liceo de Manila for his secondary course (1904-1908), and Escuela de Derecho in Manila for law (1909-1911). In 1922, he became representative of the sixth district of Cebu, and a member of the first National Assembly of the Commonwealth in 1935.
