7th Carcar Lecture
The Carcar lecture series was capped with the 7th lecture last September 21, 2013. Frances Mae Serenio presented “Orality in Print: The Oral Art Forms in Jose Galicano’s Flash Fiction.” Then, Dr. Hope Sabanpan-Yu presented her presentation on “Filomena’s Feminism: The Boringog in Ang Kaadlawan ni Ginang Cortijeras.”
After the presentation was the awarding of St. Catherine’s College and Dr. Madrileña de la Cerna as Heritage Partners for this outreach program.
